Is the dog whisperer a Narc??

I am interested in this point of view - because my ex used to ignore my "BAD" behavior and walk away - stare at me an not speak almost as if he could not speak - and ignore any issue that was other than rainbows sunshine and cookies. If I wanted to talk about the kids it was always a good convo - if it was about his job - in a good way - it was good...but the second I would try to broach anything about us in any way he literally stood there never answering. I am not sure he was a N. But he had strong facets of it. In essence what I am saying is he would ignore bad behavior (me discussing problems in the marriage) and reward (engage pleasantly or at leas engage) in conversation that went well. I used to say - and this relates to your question - that my ex would reward my good behavior and ignore my BAD behavior like a dog whisperer. One big difference. I am not a dog. Even on the days I may pee in the house. Its weird but I thought I was the only one who thought about it this way. LOL

If you watch the documentary called "Mine" about displaced Katrina pets, one of whom Millan 'rehabilitated' you might get an idea of whether your theory is possible--but it's more about how the person involved (the dog's original owner) was treated by Millan than the dog.

Maybe its better to just get another book....tho his comment seems a funny thing to say in a book.... lucky your dog cannot read .....lol..

Well my narc is a dog trainer and I refer to him as the dog whisperer.. Is ceaser a narc.. Dont know.. He came from nothing and has a very big ego..don't confuse the two.. Personally i enjoy watching him and how he has great in site on life, people and dogs,.. However training a dog requires control and patience.. Personally I have two dogs.. One is as easy as pie.. The other OMG.. I fail every time.. I have had several trainers and only one can can completely control my dog Marley.. I call him marley because is just like that.. Hunter
