does this sound strange or what

a few days back he asked me how i SPELLED my maiden name, because he wanted to program it in his phone and didnt think he spelled it right? Ya right, he didnt even care what I liked in my coffee let alone how my maiden last name was spelled, these people are weird and they think we remain forever clueless, I told him I forgot how to spell my maiden name, and I have his in my phone listed under PRICK,

the "spell-checker"

Yes, that sounds about as weird as mine getting ready to send me a letter (after 7 years of knowing me) and asking me how I spell my last name. He didn't seem to know what it was.

cartoons

Too much about the coffee.. Not surprising, mine acted like a character out of a cartoon all the time. One day I started to really observe him in action and realized that his body movements, speech, facial expressions all looked scripted and he was "directing" himself. The scariest was that he had all these old videos--movies with a common thread. They all had a hero character. I looked at him while he was watching, and he was actually doing a MIMIC of the facial expressions of the actors. Once I saw that I started noticing all these abnormalities in his behaviors. Even when he was being "loving", his eyes started looking weird--very intense, sometimes they almost looked like they were changing color! I began to realize there was something not right with him

LOL!!! My ex has known me for nearly 20 years but the day before we split up he went out to buy a bottle of squash because we had run out of the stuff. The only type I like is lemon. I never touch anything with the word 'currant' in it, just don't like the taste. Anyway, he came back with blackcurrant squash which I detest and he seemed astonished when I refused to drink it. After 20 years how could he not know things like that? Re names: as I cannot bear to say his name now, I usually refer to him as 'Iago Rumpelstiltskin' or just 'Rumpel' for short. :-) http://stoptherollercoaster.blogspot.com/ http://byebyejekyllandhyde.blogspot.com/ http://knittingattheguillotine.blogspot.com/

Do you think he deliberately

Do you think he deliberately bought the thing he knew you didn't like just to game you on the way out?

explanation

Quick explanation for those not familiar with the character of Iago. He was an immoral, evil, pathoogical liar in Shakespeare's Othello http://stoptherollercoaster.blogspot.com/ http://byebyejekyllandhyde.blogspot.com/ http://knittingattheguillotine.blogspot.com/

I like Rumpelstiltskin

I like Rumpelstiltskin better, kind of fit the persona when he got so mad because she knew his real name and went into a rage jumping up and down until the floor broke beneath him. Really fits the raging this people do whenever you know the truth about them. Rumpelstiltskin evil little man!!! http://james-personalitydisorder.blogspot.com/

Rumplestiltskin

Yes, have collected lots of Rumpelstiltskin pics to use on my blogs at some stage!! I called him that because one day I was watching him rage incoherent nonsense and it suddenly struck me how much he looked like the Rumplestiltskin in a storybook I had as a child! http://stoptherollercoaster.blogspot.com/ http://byebyejekyllandhyde.blogspot.com/ http://knittingattheguillotine.blogspot.com/

I wonder how many of these old stories are about people like the NPD! If you read them again and think about the disorder so many fit the profile and evil behavior. Like the old witches and dark knights. Even Cain fits the profile to a tee. No doubt this disorder is as old as man and it's many nations. http://james-personalitydisorder.blogspot.com/

you could be right

Yes and some of them in reverse? Instead of kissing a toad that turns into a prince, we've kissed a prince who turned into a toad (or in your case a princess who turned into a frog?) http://stoptherollercoaster.blogspot.com/ http://byebyejekyllandhyde.blogspot.com/ http://knittingattheguillotine.blogspot.com/

How very true!

Yes and some of them in reverse? How true!! I didn't think about them but yes, makes a lot of sense. Even the story about NPD come to us from our Greek mythology Narcissus was cursed by the Greek god Artemis on the request of his many lovers and admirers; all upset by his infidelity and disregard for their feelings. The curse was for him to fall in love with his own reflection, leaving him sitting day in and out by the same pool, longing for himself in the water but not able to touch or be loved by this image until he withered away and died in loneliness and despair.

Bram Stoker's Dracula is an obvious one of course as is RL Stevenson's Jekyll & Hyde but I just checked Wikibooks and it does actually mention Iago (and Edmund in King Lear) and it states, "The destruction that these characters inflict on those around them is vast and profound" Sounds familiar! http://stoptherollercoaster.blogspot.com/ http://byebyejekyllandhyde.blogspot.com/ http://knittingattheguillotine.blogspot.com/

Iago

“ Demand me nothing. What you know, you know. From this time forth I never will speak word.” – Iago, Othello Iago is one of Shakespeare's most sinister villains, often considered such because of the unique trust that Othello places in him, which he betrays while maintaining his reputation of honesty and dedication. Yes, I see how he does fit the bill of a personality disorder.. Interesting!!! http://james-personalitydisorder.blogspot.com/

there's a book...

called the WIZARD OF OZ AND OTHER NARCISSISTS! (lol!) exNH a few months ago - made Jumbalaya when his sister was here and we all had it together. He put salmon in it because HE likes it. The kids HATED it. He neglected to tell me and I had to be taken to the hospital because I am ALLERGIC TO IT AND HAVE BEEN ALL MY LIFE. As with all other incidents I made sure my doctors put that he made it and wouldn't tell me what was in it until I couldn't flippin' breathe! They don't "forget" They seriously do NOT CARE. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Articles & information for abuse victims - Updated Daily Online Coaching for Victims of Narcissists/ Psychopaths

"I don't know nothing, nothing

a few days back he asked me how i SPELLED my maiden name, because he wanted to program it in his phone and didnt think he spelled it right? From the way you wrote this thread, I will assume you didn’t give him this information. I soon learned after we departed not to give her any information, in fact I had a post it hanging by the phone in case I forgot. It still scares me today that my ex has my sons social security number as well as my own. So members don’t give them any information regardless how small or unimportant you think it is. As for what information I have on her? All I will say is "no comment". http://james-personalitydisorder.blogspot.com/

echo and narcissist read the story many times never would have dreamed the myth would enter my life, I feel at times like echo that I will die of a broken heart or maybe I already died of a broken heart and I just have to find a way to be reborn again and you know I will never tell because echo had her voice taken away ha ha as for narcissist looking at his reflection in the water I would like to push his head into the water is what I would like to do and end his suffering, but maybe just maybe the best punishment of all is that they live long long lives never knowing how to love another human being, or experience the joys that come with that.

i will never tell

no I didnt, they are always up to something be careful when they ask any questions its always to pump info from you in some way, because it certainly isnt because they care or have any genuine interest in you, I should have said and what is your bank account number, I found it odd he didnt know how to spell my maiden name since he attended both my parents funerals and his father is my mom's second cousin. let me back up, I was adopted and so was he, one of the other many reasons I fell for the hook thinking we shared so much in common being both adopted and knowing family history etc, all a bunch of crap and gee can you hardly believe he targeted me after my parents died a few months apart, there he was with his mother and dad paying respects to my parents and offering if he could do anything to help me because my folks were such wonderful people as I sat there sobbing over my dad laying in the casket. I have seen first hand James how sick these people are, it just doesnt get any sicker than that. my poor mother who always said to me thru the years, gee so and so is so nice why dont you two get together, ya mom he turned out real nice.
