Did the narc ever parade you around like a show horse?

I know the title sounds weird.......I was thinking recently and I remembered how my narc ex paraded my around like a show horse like when his mother and sister came up from New Orleans to visit and he made a huuuuuuuge deal about it and said well you know baby I only let the people I plan on settling down with or the ones I think I want in my life I let them meet my mother and sister. Anyways... Mom and sister come up for a visit and we went to his Aunt's house and soon he is parading me around like a show horse saying Mom isn't Lindsay great?? Sis isn't Lindsay great?? She is the girl I want to marry...... I love her so,so much and soon Mom and sister are saying oh yes we have heard so much about you! Puke...... I never quite got that one.... Parading me around meeting the mom, sister and of course I met his dad since he lived with him but if he never had any intentions of marrying me or being serious why parade me around like a show horse or is another narc quality?
