The silent treatment is the worse, I wouldnt even do anything wrong..he would just go silent and not even look at me just like if I did not exsist..that was the most hurtful.. for me also if we were on the fone and id be telling him how I felt..silence.and id say r u there? hed say yes im here..but no emotion, no response to what I was saying no nothing! Being ignored is the worst abuse ever at least if they hit u, u know u exsist!! I could never understand if everything was ok y all of the sudden silence??? I hope he is silenced now that Im not being a bother to him!!
I'm so glad you mentioned the phone!! OMG. That was my biggest complaint ever! She was crap at communicating over the phone!!!
Never knew anyone like it.. even at the beginning of the relationship. It was like pulling hens teeth. I would say something and the conversation didn't go anywhere i felt like she didn't want to talk to me.
Now all this is starting to make sense... my exN is truly f**cked up.
sorry just saw ur response..yes they r fuked up..totally..even though we still have bad days and miss them and long for them..I feel that in the long run we will be thankful..God has a plan for all of us and I believe that if God wanted us w/these people we would b w/them....so we r dodging a bullet..now just to have patience while the heart heals and the pain subsides!!!!! AHHHHH..what a relief we will feel the day we notice..we truly dont care about them anymore and we r fine and great and better off w/out them!! That will be GLORY!!!
Mine was bad on the phone, too. If I said something he didn't want to deal with, he quickly changed the subject. And if you asked him about something he did not want to answer, he would just not talk at all...complete silence. I,too had to ask if he was still on the line! This pattern on the phone was so consistent that I busted him on it. He was shocked. Guess it worked for him in the past! Dunno.
