Darnitt I called him on accident!

This is so crazy that this bothers me. But i have been no contact with my ex for just one week. The first couple of days were hard and I believe he was trying to contact me in sneaky ways like calling me private and sending me chain letters and I didn't reply or answer the phone so then he stopped.

I felt good that he was the last one to contact me and that I am the one who left him alone and ignored him. Today while I was cleaning up I had my cell in my bra and it called him on accident. He didn't answer and now I am pissed!

I can't help it. I don't want him to think I tried to call him and then thus give him the satisfaction of thinking I still want him or that he is the one who doesn't want to speak to me. This is so annoying. Am I being immature about it?

It is not important who had "the last word". Please believe me. What I know from my own experience is that having your ego satisfied about the way it was ended, does not change anything, it does not ease your pain. Maybe it does, but for a very short period of time. This satisfaction does not last long. It is not about pride, it is about freedom form narc. And that is the only thing that matters. One of the most difficult battles is the one when we fight against ourselves. And the most rewarding victory is when we win this battle. Love Winter

Don't ya just hate it when your boobs accidentally call the disordered one? I agree, Kesha, delete his number from your phone. I know you're trying hard here, so I'm not going to be TOO forthright, BUT I think you really might want to think more about doing what you need TO DO, to stop any contact with him. I know you said you were struggling with your FB. Well,it's really all so simple, like Hunter says, delete, delete, delete! But it has to be YOU that ends it, that pushes the delete button.
