Covert Narcissist

Now that I am here and healing or at least trying my best to with all your support, I am also reading a lot of material on NPDs.

I am finding way more information on the garden variety prototypical narcissist but very little information on the covert narcissist.

When we are spinning from them and trying to heal it does not matter whether they are a narc or not or even if they are what type they are. However it piqued my curiosity, because the covert narcs are just as insidious and do D&D just as much. There is not much information on them. I found a couple of members mentioning them on this forum but not a lot. It will help others who are dealing with with a covert narc and yet do not know or recognize it as such because they don't fit the overt profile. Any resources/ articles or links to personal experiences that will shed light on this type of Narc?
