Co-Parenting with a Narc?

I can't go complete NC since I am pregnant with N's child. However, we are not in a relationship and I have kept communication to the bare minimum. I have not seen him in a couple of months.

For those that have children with N's, have you found it possible to co-parent without drama? We have no drama now since we no longer live together and I'm not interested in his life.

I am just wondering if i'm dreaming when I think we can be friends for the baby. Thanks for your input ahead of time!
