Chicago Chapter Meeting

Well i am again so excited to announce to everyone that we have official filled the position of Media Chairperson. Gettingbetter has accepted the position. She has vast amount of experience working in public relations. Her qualifications far exceed what we could have ever asked for and we are forever grateful that she has agreed to accept this post. I am thrilled to announce that our new Chicago Chapter Secretary is....HAPPY1!!! We are very excited to have her on board. This is a very busy postion and i am sure she will make a great one for us. Hopefully we wont drive her to nutz! LOL. I have been able to chat with her personaly and believe that she is going to do an awesome job for us. Thank you and I want to let everyone know that I am going to work very hard to get this historical venture underway. I cant do it alone but i know i have the support of all of you great people and Lisa, so this eases my mind and gives me the confidence i need to move forward. I will be posting issues on the board that pertain to the format and structure of the new Support Group in order to get your input over the new few weeks. We feel its important that our members take an active role in organizing and formatting this new Head quarters Group. This is your group after all and should be structured in a manor that provides the best services to the victims. For this i will need all of your opinions, brainstorming and critiques. Although the first will be our Headquarter group in Chicago, we would like to move as quickly as possible to branch off new chapters once we have established here and can provide support to facilitate the other groups. I will be posting a new email address that will belong to the Headquarters chapter so we can converse on issues relating to the Support Group very soon. If you have any immediate concerns till then contact me at [email protected]. I just want to tell all of you that i know this member board is used primarily as a discussion board for daily issues we are facing with the Narcissist and coping with our Narcissistic Victim Syndrome. I will do my best not to interfere with this and respect all members need for discussion relating to recovery. I do appreciate however your support and guidance with the business of our Support Group. I firmly believe that this simply can not be done with out all of you wonderful people. we are also trying to set up arrangements to go for sushi after the meeting. Lisa said there are a few places close that are very good so i will need the official head count at least a week in advance so i can make reservations. If you dont like sushi they will offer other items on the menu. I am going to work on getting a group price for the dinner as well. I will do everything i can to make this evening and trip as affordable as possible for everyone. Hopefully we will reach a point on day that we will have the funds to afford to help those that are financial unable but would like to attend. This would be a long term goal for us. I am real excited to meeting all of you wonderful ladies/gents. xoxox only one way to go...Forward (tm?)
