Chat room question for you guys POLL

I went and made the room private and by invite only. But do you guys want me to just open it up again ?? I missed all the hoopla with the ass posters so I was not sure what was going on. Howeverm it sounds like some of you guys were having "fun" with them. Som if you want me to just open it back up so everyone can get into it, please let me know. I just wanted this to be something fun and sort of therapeutic for us.
Let me know ok ?? With my whole family leaving for vacation today I am gonna need you guys to chat to :)

Just for my 2 cents I have run into these types of "attention seekers" a few times on others sites and it's cause me a couple of triggers so mostly I stay away from them. Some of them are just bullies who need to beat someone up to feel better about themselves. But it's your room so follow your own gut feelings. I know it never goes anywhere (solutions with bullies) but it's all so draining. I really just tune them out and listen to the others people in the chat rooms. Attention Seekers need and want attention and if they don't get it like a child they will just cry louder and finally if you don't give them that they go to sleep (leave chat) on you.

I agree with James. I left the N and am no contact because I don't want to deal with those kind of people. For me, it would be a trigger and, really, I've done enough arguing and fighting in my lifetime with the N. Prefer peace instead. However, the room doesn't belong to me so whichever way it goes, I have a choice to join in or not.

That's the thing

I'm sure the novelty for them will wear off eventually, but I do not want to cause anyone here any type of pain or being put in an uncomfortable situation. Just want to get the chat back up and running as quickly and smoothly as possible. :)

Agree about the fighting

Even now I can't stand fighting. it goes right to my soul. Even with two teenagers (sorry one my oldest now is an adult) in the home they will fight between themselves (verbal) and I try to find an solution asap. Whenever I think back I still can't believe how much verbal fighting it was like back in the "bad old days".
