Calling of the narcisist, does it make sense?

My narcisist wife left me after 19 years of marriage after I was diagnosed with cancer.
The good news is that the year of treatment helped a lot, but I have not been able to work at my pre cancer level
It took me months after the divorce to realize what she was, she said ‘we would always be friends’
I know would like to tell her how much she ruined my life and how I question if anything was real.
I have been told by therapists it will not make a difference to her, but I feel I need to do this.
