Attend the Eight Steps Recovery meeting Friday Aug 27th. via; Video Conferencing

Great news everyone! We think we have it set up for our forum members to attend the meeting on Friday night through video conferencing. If you would like to attend please send me your email address along with your forum name to [email protected]. I will send you an invitation and directions on the website we will be using. It appears to be relatively easy and we are also able to have your participation through a chat server.

I will be only sending invitations to those members that are currently on the board. Any one that joins us after this post will have to wait until next months meeting. I am sorry but space is limited and we have to accept our current members first. I hope you understand. We have enough seats for 50 members to join us so if you can make it Friday night please send me your information as soon as possible so i can send you an invite as space is limited. If you are not sure you can attend please do not send for a request as we do not want to to have no shows if there are members that dont get a seat and wanted to attend. I will have to set a deadline of Thursday at 5pm central time USA to receive your requests.

There will be means for participation if you choose but you are not required. Hi everyone! Betty and I are busy planning for Friday night's meeting. It looks as though there may only be four of us attending, which is fine, but we need to plan for food, etc. so if you do plan on attending in person, please let Betty know asap. Also, if there is a such a small group of us, I might see if I can cancel the meeting room I booked because there is a rental fee for the space. If there are just four of us, perhaps we'll go somewhere quiet for dinner to have our meeting and I can save money on the cost of the room. Either way is fine, but please let us know asap if you can make it! Thx! xoxo

Meeting Update

Based on the lack of response, I'm going to assume there's just four of us for Friday. This is fine, of course, but I just needed to know for purposes of renting space. I'm going to see if I can cancel the meeting room tomorrow because we don't need that much space. If there's just four of us, we can grab dinner somewhwere local and meet in the lobby of the building. So, I'm canceling the meeting room and we'll meet in the lobby of 40 E. Ninth Street at 7pm on Friday. I'm looking forward to it! xoxo

I will be there !! Just been really busy this week and did not get a chance to get onto the site !! I'll just plan on meeting you all in the lobby of the building !! Looking forward to it !! Where is the best place to park ??
