Approaching the Press -- Custody Battle
Approaching the Press -- Custody Battle
Though I have been doing all I can, legally and in prayer, to ensure that my Narcissistic, drug addicted ex who was imprisoned for domestic violence is not successful in taking my daughter from my primary physical custody... I am trying to prepare for a worst case scenario. The jurisdiction of my case in a court system rife with corruption and my judge has also been identified as corrupt. Though any reasonable court would see that my ex (who has never lived with his daughter) is unfit, I believe it would be arrogant and unwise to not prepare.
In the event custody is changed to my ex, I am considering approaching the press as I truly believe my child's life would be in danger if she were to go into his care. I also think my ex's profile is so egregious it would be newsworthy if I lost custody. In addition to his vices, he is financial ruins and lives in a small apartment -- should he win custody I assume he would be sleeping in the same bed inappropriately with my child. I have been my daughter's only caretake, her sole provider (he does not pay child support), and provide my daughter with a very good life (a beautiful home, excellent schooling etc).
It is very shameful for me to have been involved with such a low life but admittedly I was duped and the consequences were dire. He asked me once, "Hasn't anyone ever lied to just to f**k you before?" Now I have to make sure my daughter is safe and would go to great lengths to ensure she remains in a healthy, safe, drug free environment.
Do you think I should approach the press?? I am also considering launching a social media blitz to have this case go viral if custody is changed.
