Any advice to break the mental contact

I recently kicked out my ex narcissist boyfriend since he was cheating on me and got a new house behind my back. I have gone 13 days no contact, but I can't seem to break the mental contact. I have always gone back to him and I fee this is the reason that I am unable to move forward with my life. Some days are okay, but today I found myself crying again. Any ideas?
