Alarming Message Left on My Machine

I screen all my calls so there isn't any danger of ever talking to my ex-N. We were over more than a year ago but every few months he leaves messages on my machine. I have completely blocked him every where else but the phone company gave me the run around for my land line. No worries though as I thoroughly screen.

HOWEVER, last night I got home and he left a message stating that he was "on his way to the emergency room with heart problems that he had never told me about". He said that if anything happened to him he wanted me to know "how special I was to him".

WHAT?!?!?! I felt like calling him back and telling him that I didn't know he even HAD a heart! I won't ever call him though but this is just yet ANOTHER example of how they act manipulative and selfish with whining hypochondriac motivated behaviors. It's really sickening.

What does he expect from me??? When I had to have surgery to find out if I had Ovarian Cancer, he called me a "BABY!".

I felt like calling him back and telling him that I didn't know he even HAD a heart! That was good, I am reading lots of funny stuff tonight, we are in high gear for monday let me tell ya. Tell him to quit being such a baby

Oh the drama! Ick! Just more proof they're so out of touch with reality. Continued NC is really best, they don't deserve ANY reaction from us, good or bad. What a jerk for interrupting your life with this "poor me" news. Sorry, I have little sympathy for someone like this, especially when he hans't shown you ANY, and as a matter of fact, went out of his way to be cruel.

He Couldn't Have Been All THAT Bad Off

He was obviously driving himself to the "emergency room" while talking on his cell phone. He always complained about every single ache or pain every single day so I find it Highly Suspicious that all of a sudden NOW he has had heart problems for years? I think not. Thanks for your responses....I was a little confused as to how to react at first. However, it's apparent that this is just another scheme to get me to contact him. I will not play his game. He'll probably tell anyone who will listen how Cold Hearted I am because I obviously don't care if he lives or dies. neveragain

drama queen! He's just reaping what he sowed, isn't he? Heart problems? Did he realize he doesn't have one? Psycho-Boy spent the night in the hospital in 2003 with cardiac pain... Barbara, I almost spit out my soda!! You're so right.....eventually they'll all have to reap what they've sowed. You're also right about him even having a "heart"! There's just a big black hole with his name on it where his heart is SUPPOSED to be. I'm hoping he'll have to pay a huge whopping hospital bill for his little bitty visit. He couldn't afford to go to my daughter's wedding but instead bought himself a $4,000.00 stereo to work out to. It would serve him right to have to pay a bunch of money for his stupid Hypochondriac Histrionics.

And You are right about the NC!! No matter WHAT!!!

One more ploy for them to get you to do what they want, and fall into their big black hole. They feign heart attacks, panic attack, loss as children, loss as adults,,poverty when everyone else had theirs, downs when everyone else had their lows,, they use any ploy (like that guy who put on a fake cast from his trunk) when he went to gas stations to get ladies to help him!! Don't fall for the swith and bait!!! Are you kidding me!! ERASE!!!!!
