The Share your Story forum is for the newer members and the Message Board is being used for those that have gone through the process a bit longer and are further along in their recovery. Hope this clarifies...given your time on the board, I would assume that you'd still be in steps 1-3 even if you are no contact because you are still processing and understanding all of it; however, no member is limited to any one particular area. Everyone here is going through the process but if you have issues that are considered more "early" recovery, then this would probably be the better place to get that out as you would be in the company of peers that understand the stage you are in better.
