I just want to thank Barbara for putting this chat room together. I think it is a great idea and know it will be helpful to all of us. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Barbara for her incredible insight and counseling. The timely advice she provides is priceless to all of us and I am so grateful for her contributions. I wish I could respond more timely to all the posts and having been on vacation, I'm still catching up on the board. I'm almost done reading everything and just want to make a few comments. Every time I read the advice and support you give one another, it makes me want to cry. My vision for this board has become a reality thanks to all of you. You are such an incredibly strong, intelligent, compassionate and amazing group of women, it makes me so proud! It is time we celebrate ourselves, each other and support one another like only we know how. You are all making that dream of mine a reality and I can't thank you enough. Grossot - I wanted to cry when I read what a wonderful time you are having with your daughter now that she is free from her narc-father. She is living for the first time thanks to you! Enjoy every minute of it. You deserve it! Mallory - Same thing. Your boys are so much better off now and I love to hear that one of your boys told you how happy he is and said he has the best family without daddy. These men are pathological and they not only destroy us, but will destroy our children if we let them. Oh, and plese file an "Alienation of Affection" Lawsuit against the other woman. Leah - You're still being hard on yourself. Please don't. You need to take care of yourself now more than ever. You are doing what is best for you and your children and you should be proud of yourself. It's going to be hard. You are going to miss him, but that's because you are still under his spell. Give it time and in the meantime, take it easy on yourself, ok? Jodie - You are going through hell right now with your narc. I can't believe how physically abusive he is to you. Please be sure to do everything you can to protect yourself. Get a restraining order. I worry about you. Whatever & Neveragain - I'm sorry to hear you are going through such a hard time right now.
