Could it be Daddy issues from Narc's childhood?

I was reading on Goldie's blog and she said this:

"Some narcs have a variety of OW, so they can play out their dysfunction all over the place. The one who allows such and such and so on. They have the sweet girl for their home base and the more lively sexual partner for some of their more deviant behaviors and the two rarely even know each other exists until the bitter end."

From other sources, I have read that Narcs are misogynists and usually the mother is the parent that either neglects or overindulges creating the NPD.

This got me thinking about my Narc's childhood. For background, Narc has married 2 other women since I have known him. This most recent woman he is with was obviously someone who was seeing him the same time I was, and I don't think she had a clue we were involved and I did not know they were in a relationship either.

My narc never talked much about his childhood but here are the highlights:

N was conceived out of wedlock and the reason his parents married.

N has one younger brother.

His Dad was a "chauvinist" who was never supportive of his mother. (I am thinking misogynist probably but never met him)

His mother was a stay at home mom.

His mom arranged for her sister (N's aunt) to have the birds and bees talk with N from the female perspective.

His Dad could not relate to N's 2 daughters and this was explained because they couldn't talk about politics, business, etc. (Guy talk)

And in the end, while N was in counseling, he told me that some of the things N's dad told him as a child when their mom wasn't around were horrendous and he would not share any further.

I suppose Narc's mom could have been miserable and maybe she neglected his needs as a toddler when the issues are supposed to begin, but could the Dad be the one that singlehandedly damages these men?

Just wondering if any of you have similar Narc childhood stories?
