In a relationship w my BF and his N exwife....when does the abuse end?

I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for over 1 year, living with him for the past 7-8 months. The two kids, 5 and 6, from his previous marriage are in the home half the time. The abuse/mind control never goes away...in the beginning we combatted it and responded to all the drama. Now, NC unless absolutely necessary. It's getting to the point that needs severe intervention in the form of boundaries. I'm advocating ONLY email contact...no cell phone bc the bad mouthing never ends.

Lying to the kids, verbal confrontations, harrassment through text messages and the N way of thinking are making me feel like I'm the insane one! Any suggestions on methods others have used in dealing with these people?
