New Me

Today marks eleven months. Amazing what time can do!

Co-worker in tears today. Her husband has found someone new. She is heartbroken and needed to leave work. The pain is so deep.

I remember.

The hole was deep, dark, massive. I had to remind myself to breathe moment to moment.

Today I breathe easy. I am free. I made the break and I am whole!

Eleven months ago I received a wonderful gift - a chance to live a real life.

I will watch and help my co-worker. I will hope she finds herself and the happiness she deserves. I know it's possible.
