Wedded Bliss with a Narcissist?

So you think if he marries you or you have children together it somehow proves that he loves you?

Wants you more than all the others?

Loves you the most; the best?

You are the chosen one?

The favored child?

And if........

He didn't marry you and married OW instead, must mean he loves her more; she is better than you, is this what you think, believe, feel?

Once upon a time........ In a land far far away.....a mystical land; a fantasy land......where all my dreams came true......where black is not black and white is not white.....a land where I could paint things whatever colors I chose...... I too believed as you do now.

Then I learned about Narcissism and I learned about people who prefer to view the world through rose colored glasses pretending that black is really pink.

Ahhhhh. What fun it was to live in my dream little girl state of being, where daddy really did love me and mommy was sweet and kind.

You couldn't tell me differently oh no no no.

My narc loved me, deep down inside anyway. Of course he did.

After all, If he didn't love me, what are you saying?

That my daddy didn't love me AND my narc doesn't love me either?

Wooawwwwwww......stop the train, waaaayyyyyy too much truth for me today.

Why don't you take your truth and stuff it in your own mouth.

The truth does set us free.

It is our own lies/denial which shames us, guilts us, and keeps us bound to the lies of others.

Like begets like begets like begets like.

Find your own truth within and the predictors will drop like flies. They will die a natural death no longer attracted to your wall of shame, fear, doubt, and insecurity.

Strengthen and heal you first.
