Golden Goldie Oldie's

I was re-reading through some of the old blog posts last night, when I came back across this gem again. This was one of the posts what really sealed the deal for me, and woke me up. It helped to lift me out of the fog, and made me see that I was in fact in exactly the right place here. That I wasn't special to this person, that this wasn't the first nor the last time this person would do this to someone, and that people here really knew what I had been going through. It let me know just how sick and twisted it all had truly been. It's also one of the blogs that illustrated for me why it was a useless endeavor, thinking friendship was an option. Of course, they'll stick around to use you, for as long as you will have them, and call it "friendship." But this one really snapped me out of my denial. It helped me to see that this was never love, and that being the case, it was also never even a friendship, on any base level. There's no love, care, or basic concern present with them. It's all a ruse, manipulation, and ulterior motives.

These are a great read, for anyone still under the gross misconception that this was ever love, in any way loving, salvageable, or for those still holding out hope that there's any good reason at all to keep a PD around in your life. This is the very nature of it all, the sickness. I hope it strikes a chord for some, the way it did for me, and may it begin to lift you out of the fog. May they help someone to see that feeling lonely is momentary, will pass, and surely preferable to living this way for another day. I present to you...oldie's but goodie's!
