The gifts I sold

Upon meeting narc, within 3 weeks he bought me a $500 brand name watch, tickets to events, clothes, sunglasses, jackets, jewellery ( expensive labels) and I didn't even know him well. Oh and bags and make up.
Upon finding out some nasty truths, I sold half of the stuff that hadn't been used. I told him I sold them, he had a little cry. I changed the watch and bought a better one too ;)

Before leaving him officially 10 weeks ago, he wrote me an email stating how im the most selfish unkind person ever. That I sell presents he buys me and this is unloving and not girlfriend like . Ummmm that's just a shame isn't it?! I explained that I don't want sick memories and crap gifts from a loser. I only want real things from real people. Again as a real NArc, he couldn't see why I would WANT to get rid if his things. I'm a rational emotional person and I KNOW WHY I sold them. Because they were toxic fraudulent gifts.

I still have the rest of the things that I do use and I'm not getting rid of these because they are pretty useful and are now worn. I have no issues with these things.

Oh and when going out narc always wanted to pay , even though I was happy to pay too and then he would use the fact that he paid, as a means to say he participates. No, I chose all the places, he had no ideas about recreational activities and then thinks paying makes him macho and manly. Whatever!!
