First question is kinda silly because we are dealing with crazies who believe their own lies but I want to see how many others have seen this happen.
We all know that people who are on dating websites fudge a little on things..a young lady might shave off a few pounds on her weight. A guy might add another didgit to his annual salary. Its kind of a given right? What is also a given is that NPD folks think that they are so much smarter than you that you will never figure out what they are up to (and if you do they will tell you your crazy,or you took it out of context or they ment it as a joke..blah blah blah. My ex husband went on a very well known dating website and posted that he had graduated college with a business degree. (he flunked out his second year cause he was partying and pissed away a full ride scholarship) He posted that he loved the water and the beach especially in Greece (he has never been to Greece) and that he loves horses and if he still owned his 100 acres that he sold for a tidy profit he would still have them. (his uncle had 140 acres that he sold 10 yrs ago? dumb dumb never owned anything. He wrote all this from his Mommys house where he was living rent free. I called a friend of mine who logged on the site and we laughed for an hour at least. She reminded me of when he got a job last year through a temp agency looking for help over Christmas and had the nerve to tell me they hired him as the manager of whole place. I played along. Then after Christmas he said they let him go, my friend says "Well if he is the manager like he said he must of fired himself!" and we laughed till we peed our selves. So a month or so ago I find out from our kid that he was out of work again. My friend says "The guy needs to stop firing himself all the time!" I am blessed with friends that will laugh with me instead of telling me "I told ya so" It sure helps with the guilt I feel for not seeing all the red flags.
LOL!
August 20, 2012 - 9:27am — BruisednotbrokenIt seems like hard work for them to manage all these lies and made up stories! It is amazing to hear the fantasies they tell when you know they are all false.
About 6 months after we split up, my ex's 15 year old cousin was talking on facebook about possibly getting a piercing. XN comments and says "they're not bad. I have 12." uhhh... WHAT?! WHERE?! I had just seen him about 2 weeks prior to him saying that and he had no jewelry on. Unless he went out and got his nipples and/or penis pierced 12 times! LOL! He is such a liar. Now I look back and see that he said this around the time he was chatting with his new girlfriend who just happens to be into, and have, many tattoos and many random piercings herself.
It is funny to sit back and watch them tell such untrue, off the wall stories!
Funny
