How to know when you're ready to date again

Just wondering for anyone here, how you know when you're ready to start dating again, and if you do feel ready, is it still best just to wait a little longer?

I want to, but i don't know if i'm ready to. i mean i feel ready and i still have the odd bad day, but i have accepted that i don't want anything to do with the N, and i have put everything behind me and used it to learn for future men, but how do you know when the time is right?
