OK - here's what I want to say & then I'll let it go.

NEWBIES: I really do understand how Hunter's "style" can bother you at first. BUT....your feelings - while understandable & not wrong at all - are coming from your "raw-ness" from Narc constantly telling you that YOU are "too sensitive", "too f'd up", "you are the problem" & "too (insert insult here)"...... (we've all been there!)
Please remember that the HUGE difference between Narc & Hunter is that Narc is manipulating you, trying to control you, f'g with your head! Hunter is trying to HELP you!!!!! She has absolutely no ulterior motive whatsoever.
Maybe because I'm 57 & learned about "tough love" when I was dealing with a "problem" teenager, I can appreciate more the GIFT OF TOUGH LOVE. And make no mistake, tough love IS a GIFT! PLEASE, don't leave - give it some time - trust that everyone here understands & wants only to help you. Ask yourself this: Do you really want someone to pat you on the head & say "poor, poor you"? Or do you want to learn, grow, change, & HEAL so that YOUR LIFE IS BETTER?

HUNTER: Please do not ever, ever, ever change!! And I know I speak for many here when I say, please don't retire either! You are needed, you are appreciated, & you are loved! God bless you for your caring, your honesty, and well....just for being YOU!
