Ive been seeing many posts regarding PSYCHIC CORD CUTTING..

Ill tell you what I did and it didnt cost a penny...However donations are always welcome..

My narc called to D&D for the last time almsot two years ago..

He said "I was insecure", "I know nothing about relationships", "We are just friends".. BLAH,BLAH,BLAH..

He went from "I LOVE YOU HONEY" to This.. What?? Who is this masked man??..

So I had three converstions that went bad.. I CUT the Psychic cord all right .. Oh.. I mean the Phone Cord.. I said " FUCK YOU" hung up and never spoke to him again..

Then the real work began.. Thearpy, Reading, The volunteer help from the Mod Squad, and Time..Dont be fooled this is a long journey..

That's how you cut the cord ladies.. Get Real and do the work..If you think there is a quick fix to the problem Im here to save your pennies .. Its doesnt work that way..

NO CONTACT is MY GOD of choice when in Narcville..

I've posted about this and tried it. Not thinking it was a quick fix but thinking that it was a mental visualization exercise that could in some way maybe help me.

If someone thought that was all they had to do to recover then yes, I see a huge problem. But everyone has different beliefs and if they feel it helps them (along with and secondary to the other necessary methods of healing) I dont see the harm. Maybe the concern is that other members will think thats all it takes? I dont think anyone said that but maybe Im missing something.

To each their own I think. I can see how some people would find it silly but they just dont have to do it then, right?

I believe in doing what works. I also find it surreal that some people come here and avail Lisa, myself, and all the mods of our services for FREE, yet go somewhere else and tell us that they are getting their pay treatment somewhere else while Lisa foots the entire bill for this site herself. I find that to be rather bizarre.

We offer services here as well and they work. We have had many use our coaching and groups services with much success. Lisa's books are also outstanding.

Do whatever works for you just please stop disrespecting this site by telling us you feel the need to support other sites and not this one. Kinda gets under my skin from time to time as I have been the lead moderator here for close to two years with little compensation aside from Lisa's exceptionally generous heart. I have been on here often for 12 hours a day. It's like a slap in the face to hear how great chord cutting is when I know darn well that chord cutting without doing the work is not going to do a dang thing. I have friends who do chord cutting and they make their clients do the work FIRST.

Right here on this site is where you will find relief and understanding and healing. Cord Cutting???? Instead of paying for that I STRONGLY recommend putting the money where it will actually help....a one on one with Goldie. I promise you it will help. And I will put my money where my mouth is.

If you choose to get real help and healing I will foot the bill for a one on one with Goldie. It will be amazing and you WILL FEEL BETTER. I would never foot the bill of something I don't believe in, especially when there isn't a whole lot of money to spare. But I know it works, I have done several and it is definitely part of the process.

What you need to understand is that this goes deeper than .. Cutting the chord..

I've read the material.. Meditation and positive thinking.. Of course that is helpful ..

However .. Being narced has to do with self .. Not the narc..

Thearpy is required, Lisa's help. Reading etc..

I think what Goldie is saying sometimes us Mods are taken for grant it..

I don't know anything about "cord cutting" so I really can't comment on that. I just think when you are so f*d up by these monsters you will try anything if it helps.

I'm not saying that is THE ANSWER by any means....I just think it's something else someone might try WHILE they are doing the work on themselves. Like "what the hell I have nothing to lose by doing it"

I am so lucky to have found this site. And I am BEYOND appreciative of all the support and advice I receive from the mods, members, Goldie, and Lisa. I wouldn't feel the way I do today if it weren't for all of you!!!

I bought the book and I am just figuring out a lot right now before I go one on one with Goldie.

I think Goldie may have missed my reply to a comment she made about how qualified she is to counsel victims of NP's. I couldn't agree more!!!!! I want to talk to someone that fully understands my pain.

I've been using Kaleah's cd. I truly believe that our healing has to happen on many levels, mental, physical and spiritual. Yes, I read and read and read, listen to Sam's and Sheridan's videos, come here to share and I exercise and take vitamins and eat well. But this pain is very much on a deeper level than what my mind and body can heal.

Why would you remove yourself from the site? Did I miss something?

I am into metaphyscial stuff too, but there is always the same inner work to be done to release yourself from your patterns. There is no magic bullet but doing a ritual or two to mark progress and affirm your determination is something else. I don't know why you would pay somebody to do that for you (cord cutting - that in particular seems a very personal process).

It's kind of like burning sage to get the negative energy out of your house. You can't just burn it while the N's sitting there. You have to have already done the gitten rid of. Does that make any sense?

As to leaving the site. No one wants you to do that. This is a lively discussion regardling people's opionions. No one is saying anything directly about you or your choices, just what we think and feel.
I was talking about wanting people to be grateful to this site and give back here as well. That was my point, not wanting you to leave.

WE want you to stay, there is no cause for you to think anyone is wanting you to leave. We were just sharing our feelings in general that is all.

You are hardly the only person who has shared these types of things. I was just making a point about this site, that is all, NOT YOU.

The healing comes from YOU!!

The healing comes in time!!

The healing comes from the work that you put in!!!

NC, Educating, NC, Reading, NC, Blocking numbers and emails, NC, Discarding every photo and item related to them, NC, and most importantly.....Being patient with yourself helps you to heal.

When you rush things...they dont come out right...the end results are sloppy and mediocre...

When you take your time and put in 100%....you get 100% as a result!!!!!

There are no short cuts here!!!!

I couldn't say it better myself Hunter and am glad you brought this topic up.

Members, please know, that we understand your pain, we understand your want, need and desire to heal, and we understand your impatience. We have been there as well and can sympathize with what you are experiencing right now.

Looking for a quick fix, such as chord cutting is cheating yourself out of your true recovery. There is no "psychic chord" to cut, this is merely a tactic thought up by someone to take advantage of the vulnerable in their time of desperation for answers and results. No different than the "Rain Man" that went from town to town, selling his words to people, robbing them of their money and belongings because they were desperate for rain to come and he convinced him that he could make it rain. The rain never came.

Hang in there and know that this will all come to an end. The stages that you go through in recovery are necessary, very necessary, no matter how painful or unbearable they can be. Quick fixes like this will only postpone your true healing.

Stay strong! And save your money!

To you Sparrow. I have just been watching some beautifully coloured birds in my garden and feeling so much happier to be back on the path out of Narcville. Yes, the charlatans are a plenty out there and I did read about this chord cutting stuff... I mean as a mental image it might help, just a bit, but I certainly wouldn't hand over any hard earned shekels. In the end, it's about exercising common sense and seeking support. Maybe some people take it too literally, and think there is an actual 'chord'. As an image to kill off, maybe it works for some? xx
