I'm going to force myself to get off the couch and off this computer to go get myself a new cell phone and number, say goodbye to the man I have been married to for 19 years on the old phone, throw that phone away and remain NC. I'm going to force myself to go to the hardware store and get a new lock and key for my home. I'm going to force myself to change all of my passwords on my accounts and block his family from my facebook account as they will only make this harder. Tomorrow morning, I'm going to force myself to get up, shower and go to work, unlike what I did today. I need to do these things for me and I need to do them right now.

I've been in counseling but I think, thanks to the information that this website has brought me, my therapist and I are finally on the same page with the direction I need to be going.

I know I have a long road ahead but I feel so much better knowing that you are all here. I was lost in space for a long time, lol.

19 years is a long time, I'm so sorry. This will be a long road but believe me when I tell you, you will recover from this.
