Being kind hearted, generous, loving, tender, accepting, open, willing to work together, team spirited, fair and generally a good person DOES NOT make me a "sucker" who deserves to be taken advantage of, despite what he may think. The good qualities that I possess make me a valued prize to be desired and appreciated. Some people just cannot recognize the true worth of a good person.

I think about the way he throws away things that are perfectly good and replaces them just to have a newer gadget. He is the same way with people. He is also unable to confront his own sense of worthlessness and grow into someone worth taking pride in.

I will continue to greet life and people with an open, however wary, heart.
