Would anyone be willing to call me in the evening and in a deep smokers voice say, "Hi Babe." And then start criticizing me? It will only take 3-4 minutes.

Or you could email me and say you are going to call and then don't.

If I told him it bothered me when he didn't follow thru, he said I gave him too much power over me.

Might have been the only truthful thing he ever said.

healthy people do what they say and are thoughtful.

After awhile I would send him a morning email, reintroducing myself. "Good morning, I am your girlfriend Lily, we've been dating 6 months, you cheat and I don't."
