I know it's probably not really ok to plug a competitor programme/book onto this site but Sam V gets discussed quite a lot so I think this may be helpful for some of us too.

It's not really about Ns or Ps but more about abuse generally.

it began as a rehab programme for men but typically, they don't do men anymore because all they heard was excuses and lies to cover up the abuse....so now they work on victims.

There is a book called living the dominator, whis very good at describing the personalities of abusers, what they do, how they do it and how it ompacts us and our kids.

I refer a lot of women to this programme because I now work in social care and there is a lot of domestic abuse that I see, particularly non violent controlling type but I have a radar for that now. The impact on the kids is the worst thing because it is so hard to fix.
