I see posts all the time from individuals who are wondering what they did wrong...why the OW/OM seems to get all the attention. Why would the Narc even NEED another woman/man if we were enough? The truth is...we ARE enough. We CAN be both the madonna and whore all in one amazing package. It is the Narcissist who can't handle all of us and must compartmentalize us into 2 catagories due to his/her disorder. The fact that your Narcissist has other women or men in his/her life is not a reflection of you being incomplete...but rather points to the fragmented and incomplete nature of the Narcissist. When you start to self doubt or wonder if the "other" person in the Narc's life is getting something "better" than you...remember that the Narcissist can never accept anyone as a complete package. They will always compartmentalize and always have "options" outside of that person (whether it be another person, internet porn etc.). The main point is...don't ever feel like you aren't enough because you were with someone who was disordered!! You ARE enough and you will find someone who can appreciate ALL of you.
