During one one of week long visits to the hospital where they were still unsuccessful at locating his CANCER, MY narc snuck off in the middle of the night - in his hospital gown WITH his IV needle stickig out of his arm - got in my car and drove to GAMESTOP to buy a Playstation3 and some games, and THEN snuck over to our apartment our friends were there, so he could say hello to our dog. THEN he snuck back in. I was asleep, conked out right after he told me he was going out of a cigarette, GLAD i didn't wake up for the 3 hours he was gone.

It didn't seem that ridiculous to me, until now LOL

But this is a recent one that comes to mind. I ended the engagement in Feb but had been in touch almost weekly afterwards. Almost all of the conversations ended in hateful, angry rants about everything wrong with me. In May, right before Mother's Day, we had two conversations/fights - one on Thursday and one on Friday. They were the usual venom-spewing tirades aimed at making me feel like a piece of s_it stuck to the bottom of his shoe.

Of course, they were upsetting. But at this point, I had gotten pretty good at just brushing them off and not letting them get to me as much. On Saturday, the doorbell rings and my daughter answers it. She walked into the family room where I was sitting with a bouquet of flowers that had just been delivered. My first thought was "these must have been sent from my brother who knows I've been sad since the breakup and is reaching out to cheer me up for mothers day" but when I opened the card - YEP! they were from the exN.

The card read: "Happy Mothers Day" Bert
Of course I called to thank him (Yes, I fell for it!!) and his cold hateful response was, "I wasn't sure if you would get anything for mothers day and I didn't want you to not get some recognition. I do think you're a good mother. But take note that the card did NOT say "LOVE, Bert".

one time, while visiting my family he said about my 16 year old neices friend that i said i didn't care for 'yeah, we should rape her and torture her in a dongeoun in our house', or when we went roller skating and he said 'this is a child molesters paradise' or when he told me to pretend i was his daughter the first day of college when he bought me my books for that semester.
