Problems with making posts

Problems with making posts
0

Over the last week or so I have had problems with the spam filter when making posts. I tried even cutting out my footnotes and sending test posts with 'test' written in subject and comment body areas but it still comes back as 'not accepted'.

Strangely when I first log on to post each day, the system allows me one or if I am luck two posts (as it has today!) and then bam. It has been really frustrating typing up replies to other member's threads and then not being able to post them.

I have contacted Lisa and the problem is being looked into, however I know how busy things are on the board and with Betty's recent bereavement I thought that in the meantime, it may be best if I created a new account to post under.

I have created a temporary account KB2 until my original account under Klarity Belle is running smoothly again. (I am just about to post and the CAPTCHA option is up so it looks like I am getting 3 posts today!) any further posts may be under KB2.

It might be a browser issue.

It might be a browser issue. I don't know what browser you guys are using, but there might be a correlation there..

I have written whole posts in response to someone looking for help, only to have them disappear when I posted. I am one of those people, that if it goes astray I will not try again because of the effort that it took in the original. Possibly just a quirk in the system?

I have taken to copying my replies and keeping them in a word doc! Sadly I didn't do that with my response to your thread yesterday! I will reply again when I next get free time. So far no problems with this account!

Sorry for the technical issues

Sorry about the issues with the posts everyone. It appears to be happening to a handful of people. I don't know why. We haven't figured it out yet, but I have my technical support person looking into it. As soon as we have a resolution, I will let you know! My apologies for the inconvenience.

Not to worry, it will take

Not to worry, it will take more than that to keep us away;)

Good! I know this and want to just tell you all how much I appreciate you!

Busy weekend for me so I'm not able to check-in as much as I'd like, but I am here. Just reading your posts on Camp 1 and Camp 2 brought tears to my eyes .

The way we can be supportive of one another while respecting each other's different opinions is just amazing to me. YOU are all amazing to me.

Love you lots! Lisa

I just checked my e-mail and got the message below from my tech.support gal. I never installed Mollom. I wouldn't know how. I'm not the most technical person in the world, which is why I'm copying and pasting this message. I don't know what a captcha is. lol

In any case, please let me know if anyone is still experiencing issues. Thank you!

Hi Lisa:

We have reviewed your settings and it appears to be a mollom issue connected to the captcha. (We never added Mollom to your system so not sure who did, maybe Barbara?) We prefer to use a different captcha.

It seems some of the users have gotten a bad rep from putting in wrong captchas and therefore blocked from submitting.

We have left the captcha only on the user registration page right now so they will not have to put a captcha in for posting forum or comments.

We have also tested a new user and had no issues posting so in general all is well except for those who have put in wrong captchas in the past.

Now that the settings are changed, we have to see if users still experience this issue.
