On Tuesday, July 27th, Betty lost her beloved niece at a young age.

Obviously, Betty will not be able to moderate our messageboard right now so I will do my best to fill in during her bereavement.

I told Betty not to check the board at all unless she wanted to check for messages of support.

Therefore, this discussion thread is strictly for notes to Betty offering support, condolences and sympathy for her departed niece. May she rest in peace.

I want you all to know that i love you and all your support means the world to me. I was with her the day she passed. I wanted her to go to the beach with me but she said she wasnt feeling well. She had no prior medical conditions. I hugged her, told her i loved her, and now shes gone. If she would have only come to the beach with me this would not have happened.
Im so sorry i cant be here for everyone right now. My body and brain are just on overload. I feel terrible and i want you to know that after i get pass the funeral on Monday i will do my best to be back. Im so lucky to have all of you, my real friends in my life. Please forgive me.

It's terrible that such a tragedy can strike suddenly. No need to apologize--take care of yourself, grieve, rest, pray. Your niece was precious to you;she's at peace now.

You and her are in my prayers.

Betty :( I'm so sorry your family is going through this terrible time.

We should never outlive our children. It is just not right. It is the worst kind of grief.

I'm glad your family has you and your strength and wisdom, it will mean so much to them in the times to come.

We lost my sister's daughter almost twenty years ago. There are still no words. It was just wrong. We needed each other, and held close to each other. It was wrong that the whole world continued to revolve. And my poor sister.

u go to work and Betty needs to recover...dont worry about us, we will be fine,so I think we can hold our own here with eachother, we will have our own lil debates!! But we will all help eachother thru it..right now betty is more important! May bettys' niece rest in peace!
