We are also in need of a practicing Attorney in the State of Illinois that is willing to do Pro Bono. Our new support group will on occasion need your assistance in matters relating to the group as a whole. We would also like to have a someone that would provide legal council for our victims as well.
Please let me know if there is anyone on the board or knows of a person willing to donate some of their time and expertise that could help us.

Great idea...why don't you also see if we can get pro bono volunteers for other states/areas if possible?

I am in NY and just passed the bar exam- when I start practicing, I would be glad to help.

Thank you so much, MsVulcan, Lisa, Betty- it was pretty cool! Very affirming, especially after raising kids for all these years and having brain rot, haha!

Anyway, Betty- in terms of legal help...even though I can't practice until I apply for admission, etc., I can always help people find out information or services.

I can also help do this for any area probably- each state has its own court website which are usually very helpful, with forms, bar associations, etc.
