I am happy to announce that it is now OFFICIAL!!!! We have a set date, time and location for your new support group.

Date: August 27th, 2010
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: 40 E. Ninth Street on the 21st floor in meeting room. Chicago, IL 60605

Please respond to the request for the head count. It is vital that we have an idea at who may be attending so we can make accomidations for everyone. If you dont want to email it to me then please respond on the post.

This i such an exciting day for all of us and i am looking forward to meeting with all of you.

I will keep you posted on other updates.

I sent you an email with info in it. My car was the recipient of a big rock in my windshield this morning. Luckily, it was on the passenger side, but my window is pretty messed up !! I am not sure I should be driving it into the city. I would probably just be asking for a ticket or the crack/spiderweb to move completely across my window (it is only halfway now).

Incredibly, I am probably going to have to work last minute tonight to cover a tour guide who is sick (another is out of town). I am wondering if any of those around from out of town will be around tomorrow. I have to do a lecture downtown in the afternoon and would love to get together after for drinks or dinner (I should be done around 5 or so) if anyone has plans (or no plans!) I am still hoping to make it tonight, though!

Flight. Check. Arriving Friday afternoon, leaving Sunday around noon.

Hotel. Check. Staying at Hyatt Regency Chicago at Wacker and Michigan.

If anyone wants to play tourist that Saturday, that's what I'll be doing. I'm thinking Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier, and Willis (Sears) Tower, at least. I've also heard you need to ride the el around a bit so I may try that. I am open to suggestions of good things to do in a day.

Hi,
I wish I lived in Chicago, I'd sure be there. No sushi for me but love those pies.
I wish there was a safe way to know if there are people in my area. Perhaps you guys already talked about that. It would be so awesome to meet people in person who understands. I have one person in my life who understands, my therapist. That is it. I have a friend who is good to me, who will listen if I want to talk. He's intelligent too. I think he read about NPD because the last time I talked about my feelings of confusion he reiterated to me what a N is. I was shocked. He was right on the money. But of course, nothing is like talking to someone who has been there and done that.
A video chat would be great.

unfortunately we do not have a phone line in the conference room. I am going to check if there are capability's to do a wireless video chat. I dont know yet how this work. I have heard of it though. I will keep you posted. And yes the Pizza ROCKS! I will throw down for a few good Chicago Pies. Lisa's got the sushi and i got the Pies! Its a party..
