and unsure how and when this will all come to an end.

maybe when the ex narc is DEAD.

I can't stop thinking about it.

I am totally non contact.... but he keeps manipulating me via the kids or the legal system.

He wont sign divorce papers, he wont agree to consent orders for the kids, he thinks he can just piss off for 12 months travelling then come back to his kids and have the same care of them as when he left. we don't even know where he is. The legal system stinks in this country as he CAN and will do just that and whatever else he wants.

It seems he has rights to do whatever he wants, whenever and no one cares. its because he is sneaky and a liar i know.

even the school ... he can seem to manipulate them.

Wow I am really glad that at least I didn't procreate with my N. What a nightmare. It is hard enough enough as it is. I only have children from previous marriage.. and only one of them still home. Others grown. Good Luck to all of you.

yours sounds a lot like mine.....mine refuses to sign divorce papers...i have no money to file...he gets away with everything he does...and i KNOW that i will never have a moment of peace or any closure until he is dead...if then...

that's "stalking via court" - and a waste of the governments money. Your attorney needs to light a fire under his derriere.

IN the state where I live I can get a default divorce, when I can afford it, even if he refuses to sign anything.

another word of caution...i live in missouri..and it's possible to get what they call 'divorce by publication'..ie he isn't physically served....but at least in this state..all you get for your trouble is a divroce decree..you cannot get child support..spousal support, name change, or a division of debt....i would suggest you look into the laws of your state further before considering a divorce in which he POS isn't served....it lets them off the hook waaaaaaaay too easy...which of course, is what they all want.........

Hmmm....Thanks for the info. There are no kids or property to worry about, but he does have tons of debt from before we married that needs to be returned to his a$$ in the divorce.

and investigate it thoroughly before you go for a default divorce...you might end up unpleasantly surprised somewhere down the road.....i mean...in this backwater, i can't even ask for return of my former name!!...what kind of divorce is that!?...the bullshit never ends.....
