Could you please remind me of what noodles are again? I can't find the thread where you stated people are noodles to a narcissist.

Be on the safe side and start applying elsewhere - the hiring process takes so long you might as well get started elsewhere.

And don't post any detailed info about yourself like on Facebook or whereever so the Narc can't screw up any more stuff in your life.

You could e-mail the guy you interviewed with once more since it's been a week now and ask if they filled the position yet. You could even take another job for the time being and always accept the dream job if it does pan out in a month or two.

And Barbara's comment about "a real knee slapper" is right. This is a very serious situation, the Narc could have ruined your chances for your dream job, there is absolutely nothing funny about it or about these Narc losers.

Narcs have cost alot of us very very dearly in life, the worst being they rob us of time and happiness - in your case, your dream job. So sorry this has happened to you. But I know you are much wiser now and getting wiser every day, and this will never happen to you again! All the best to you!

I have a part-time job at Starbucks to help me right now. But unemployment is going to run out in a few months. I emailed about the job this last Friday. I know it's Wednesday...I don't know. He was attentive before the interview, during, and right after. Now it's been a week and 3 days...ugh. Sometimes it takes a couple of weeks so I'm trying my best to not freak out about it. I'm just so paranoid...I'll email him again on Monday if I don't hear from him before then.

I'm wondering if this could possibly be what's going on with me in regards to a job I'm trying to get. My ex knows the man who interviewed me. My ex has been staring at my business profile for the past couple of weeks. I didn't put on my profile that I had the interview, but I know my ex is probably still talking to the man who interviewed me.

The man was very responsive up to the interview, during the interview, and immediately afterwards. But it's been over a week and he hasn't responded to my follow-up email.

I'm feeling VERY paranoid that maybe my ex created a smear about me to this man. I hope not!!!! I fear this because this is my dream job (as my ex knows it would be too). Ugh. I hope I'm just feeling paranoid for no reason. It's only been a week...sometimes jobs take a few weeks before you know for sure of whether you got it or not, right?

Help. =( I just fear that my ex is going to sabatoge me. I wouldn't put it passed him since he labeled all of his exes and his wife as "crazy"...why wouldn't he do it to me too? Ugh.
