Barbara,
I was hoping to get to chat with you tonight. Sorry you're not feeling well...hope you're better.
What did you tell me I should do last night as far as my son's counselor? You said I should have his files transferred BEFORE I notify the couselor that I'm changing or what? How should I do this without giving her the chance to make notes that will discredit me?
Thanks lady...you're amazing <3

You don't have to give her any reason.

Just send her a letter, return receipt, that you authorize the release of copies of his files to you as soon as possible.

Try to avoid her phone calls. Or tell her you need them for your records. When you find someone you like you simply write and let her know you are terminating her services.

Don't give away your power, RenewD - this is YOUR DIME - you don't have to explain your actions as a mother to ANYONE but yourself and eventually your children.

Far TOOOO many women have the DISEASE TO PLEASE. You don't owe her an explanation.
