Forgiving a Narcissist?

Many share with me how they struggle to forgive those who have done them wrong. We forgive to release the anger and bitterness over the infraction so we will regain our peace of mind. Holding on to the betrayal, wound, or in some cases slight, keeps you bonded to the person/situation. Forgiveness sets you and them free. You may go that route or hold until every last detail of it shows on your face, your disposition, and inner core. Or...if you really want to suffer, hold on to it until you are so old you can barely remember what it was that had you in such a state to begin with and unfortunately by then, you may not remember what it was you were looking for in the first place, oh yeah, peace of mind. xoxo P.s. they are not getting away with it, you are simply creating a better way of life for yourself........
This is a natural progression of healing, it's difficult to even consider when you are still in the thick of it and most likely struggling to leave or grieving their having left you. This is more for those who are still holding on months or years out. RZ

Together and Healing,
